I will sit there and listen
Even though I've been there before
I will let my eyes not close
Before my very teacher
With genuine words and
Wisdom like no other
I relish in my new found Knowledge
While knowing it is in its raw form
The words spoken are just that...
Words from a wise man to a student
Those fragments will persuade my
Own thoughts in their own time...
However even now, I can't tell you
The path they will take
They have their own direction
As predicated by their own conscience
But as they enter my mind
I wonder if they lay there
Without influence, or they too
Depend on the fragments laying on
Top of them...they are often
Lives of their own, as the wise
Man smiles and continues
