This poem, written by Charles last year, paints a beautiful picture. - poetheart 08/31/02
An evening stroll along the beach
The lonely moon just out of reach;
Waves wash o'er the footprints bare
Soon erased as never there
A sultry breeze caressed the night
with warmth before it soon took flight;
Sands of time- all without name
Each grain had lost it's claim to fame
A falling star lit up the sky
As if to say it wasn't shy;
Driftwood scattered on the shore
Made eerie shadows by the score
I looked around, then what a sight...
A glowing presence oh so bright;
There you stood- love's burning flame
No more alone, thank God you came.
