Today on the beach,
An umbrella, a rebel crab
A bright red ball,
Footprints from the surf
To the blanket
Where we made our camp
Sweet whispered words
Sailing on the gentle breeze
The sun heating up our backs
And coloring our faces
As the tide rises
Washing away our sandcastles
There will be no testimony
Of this beautiful day
All evidence will be washed away
Like our footprints
And our sandcastles
Leaving tan memories in the sand
