Winds of change have arrived -
Boldly and brazenly
to our very front doors,
Not as gentle subtle breezes
but as gales to rattle the windows
and howl on the steps.
Winds of change have come -
to transport us out of our comfort
and into the long denied chaos.
The veils have come down
and the walls tumble like Jericho.
The world is changing before our eyes,
and we are uncertain of everything.
We ride out into the storm
knowing we are not in Kansas anymore.
