Here is more wonderful work by the poetess I am proud to call my friend and whose work I so admire. She never fails to fill me with wonder at the "beauty" of her work and her soul. She always touches my heart. - poetheart 01/02/00
What Beauty is:
a flower, a tree
A sunrise, a sunset, and You
To me
Beauty, a figure
Beauty, a face
Beauty, a memory
Time can't erase
Beauty, a child
A woman, a man
Or a mirage,
A flash in the pan
Gone in a moment,
A twinkling of eye
Beauty unclaimed,
Untamed, unnamed
When passion dies
Beauty gets blamed
Beauty, when judged by the world
Is a lie
Beauty is not something
Money can buy
Beauty within is the beauty I see
Beauty is You, to me
