"Corbic's Nightmare"

When I received this poem from Brad back in June, 2002, he specified that he hoped that someone would find some value in this particular poem.  - poetheart 09/02/02

Gradually descending into an abyss of holy lies, dreaded ends to what is, the combination.
Restructuring the moral web, to regulations of the norm is, an abomination.
Sinking deep and at a rapid speed, I am sent to a sordid, awful place of silence.
To think forever, results which plague the cavity of my mind, demanding compliance.
Resistance is left to defend itself against these atrocious setups.
The most encouraging and insightful approach to escape is not to letup.
We should be wary of the imminent consequences accompanying this stance, so filled with vigor.
For the monsters are tricksters, and cause blisters, on all brains of listeners that inwardly whisper.
