This poem is by the daughter of a dear friend of mine and resident poet Dona Lou Pearson. I am sincerely grateful to Carla for allowing me to post this poem. I knew I liked it from the first time I read it and every time I read it again I like it more. - poetheart 04/18/01
Your voice within me
Sleeps
My soul houses
Winding memories
Your thoughts
Melting with mine
And on my back
An echoing touch
Awaiting another chance
Every breath coming slow
Will it be forever I will miss you
Or just until the echoes
Fade you away
In dreams?
