I received some poetry from a young visitor from New York. I like his work very much and decided to post it here on my site. This is the first poem Ryan submitted and I hope to be posting more of his work in the future...

I'm walking along, so far away
Trying hard to know what to say
We're coming closer, that feeling begins
Wanting so much, if only a friend
My heart is beating so fast inside
Where can I Run? Where can I Hide?
I'm trying so hard to let you see
That which I know, is meant to be
I see your eyes - so blue, so cold
I know in my heart I have to be bold
You're upon me now, I'm turning away
Maybe tomorrow, some other day
Some other day, so far Away
