When Paul Robert Dinwiddie submitted this poem, I knew I liked it right away and didn't hesitate to post it. I like the rhythm and rhyme of it. - poetheart 04/18/02
Dare to fly with eagles high
Mountain top and desert sky.
Crashing back into the earth
to the one that gave us birth.
Teardrops fall then to the floor
broken, shattered, nevermore.
Chase the sun into it's grave
hail the moon, now give a wave.
Always chasing, never learning,
never catching, always yearning.
Frozen raindrops on the door
broken, shattered, nevermore.
Chase the sun now from its bed,
soon the moon is almost dead.
Hear the song now in your life,
doing something with your strife.
Frozen Roses by the shore,
broken,shattered, nevermore.
Frozen teardrops by the door,
broken...
shattered...
nevermore...
