"Humor me" -she said to him,
"I know this might sound strange,
But I have something I must tell you
That should bring about some change."
So she sat him down
And pulled out a letter
She had written long ago-
It was crinkled and was yellowed
And she unfolded it-all aglow.
She read to him the verses
Of heartfelt poetry
Her voice was clearly shaken
And she was on one bended knee.
"Thank you for coming home
I'm happy when you're near
I don't say often enough,
What you mean, my dear.""I love you more than I can say,
You are all I feel and think and breathe,
It's just so hard to tell you,
