"What dreams are made of..."

I received this new (and romantic) poem by Paul Robert Dinwiddie yesterday. It is dedicated to his Andrea.  - poetheart 04/27/02

You're weary now, it's time for bed,
Sleep now, angel, rest your head.

Sleep and dream of things to come,
Like Bristol cream and bubble gum.

Close your eyes and get some rest,
Then off to work and be your best.

Do your work and hurry home,
Always know, you're not alone.

Games by James, a coffee shop,
Model trains, a pizza shop.

Wondrous things, we buy each one,
But living life is just as fun.

I see you smile and know it's true,
I know the reasons I love you.

What dreams may come to us in life?
I can dream that you're my wife.

And I can dream that I'm your hubby.
Despite the fact that I am chubby.

In that dream we're husband and wife,
and we are sure to have some strife.

I am sure that we will make it,
Cause I'm sure that we won't break it.

Love will keep us in the end,
Cause we're strong enough to bend.

It seems it's time that I should wake,
and live this dream, it's not a fake.

Sometimes I won't know what to say,
So I'll say it more each day.

It is all that I can do,
Try to show that I love you.
