"On the Whistle of the Wind"

This poem was submitted by Patricia in mid-April. Its posting twice postponed, this poem finally makes its debut today.  - poetheart 06/16/02

Illuminated particles
Dance on sunlit beams
Transferring all streams of consciousness
To electrostatic dreams

On the whistle of the wind
Fragments attract and then repel
Floating matter billows to embody
In a ghostly curling swell

A blurred vision builds before me
My lover's apparition-only here to say
In life's dusty winds of loneliness
He will never go away.
